EPFL - Design System implementation

EPFL, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, is a public, federal, Swiss, cosmopolitan school and one of the most famous science and technology institutions in Europe.

EPFL trusted us with the creation of its Design System. A complete design documentation for all of its sites and platforms. Conception, visual design and frontend development: we have collaborated with the school's communication and information system teams to produce accurate, accessible and modern documentation.

The variety of platforms, application areas and user types involved, pushed us to come up with versatile and creative solutions. This exciting challenge allowed us to create a sharp visual and a robust system design.

A project of this size has led us to collaborate with different actors to complete the project. The Design System has already been applied to the search engine designed by Liip and to the directory designed by :ratio. Then, at the end of the project, we ensured the handing-over to the VPSI (Vice-presidency for Information Systems) which continues to develop this documentation.
